Refund Policy

Last updated: April 20, 2026

This Refund Policy describes when Thorium PCs issues refunds, how refunds are processed, and the limited categories that are not refundable. It should be read alongside the Return Policy and the Warranty.

When refunds are issued

Refunds are issued for canceled orders that have not yet shipped, for approved returns under the Return Policy, and for warranty outcomes where refund is selected by Thorium as the remedy.

Amount and deductions

Refunds are based on the amount actually paid to Thorium. Where a restocking fee applies under the Return Policy, it is deducted before refund. Original shipping charges are not refundable on buyer-initiated returns unless the return is the result of our error. Return shipping and any import duties or taxes paid to third parties are not refundable.

Timing

Once a refund is approved and released, it typically posts to the original payment method within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your issuer. International refunds may take longer. Thorium does not control issuer posting times.

Non-refundable items

The following are not refundable:

  • Items marked final sale
  • Opened software, digital goods, and license keys
  • Damage caused by misuse, liquid, modification, power events, malware, or piracy
  • Duties, tariffs, brokerage fees, and taxes paid to third parties
  • Return shipping cost on buyer-initiated returns
  • Products returned outside the applicable return window without prior authorization

Chargebacks before contacting us

We ask that you contact Thorium before initiating a chargeback. Most disputes are resolved faster through direct communication. Where a chargeback is filed on a shipped and delivered order in good condition, Thorium will dispute the chargeback with full documentation.

International refunds

International customers remain responsible for any duties, taxes, or brokerage fees paid to customs or the carrier. These amounts are collected by governments and carriers and are not within Thorium’s ability to refund. Recovery of such amounts must be pursued with the relevant authority directly.

Governing law

This policy is governed by the laws of the State of Alaska and applicable United States federal law. Federal law supersedes where required.
